DR. Khosravi Earns Spirit Of Mercy Award

September 27, 2022

Mercy One Spirit Award At a ceremony in August, Dr. Sasha Khosravi, Clive Behavioral Health’s Chief Medical Officer and Pediatric Psychiatrist, was awarded the MercyOne Spirit Award for psychiatry. The Spirit of Mercy Award recognizes staff members who exemplify the values of reverence, integrity, compassion, commitment to the poor, justice, stewardship and excellence in a manner consistent with the sacred tradition of the Sisters of Mercy. Spirit of Mercy award winners are recognized for the example they set by their inspiring leadership and loving commitment to those in need. This year’s ceremony recognized a combined group of honorees from the past few years when Covid prevented MercyOne from hosting the ceremony. Dr. Khosravi came to Clive Behavioral Health from MercyOne in 2020, but also maintains a role at MercyOne as founder and medical director of the MercyOne Psychiatry Residency Program.

We congratulate Dr. Khosravi for this much deserved recognition. Well deserved!

Clive Behavioral Health Participates in dsm Magazine’s Lifting the Veil Event Series

October 4, 2021

Clive Behavioral has been pleased to participate in dsm Magazine’s Lifting the Veil event series during 2020 and 2021. Drs. Sasha Khosravi and Eric Barlow served as panelists in three webinars that can be accessed through dsmmagazine.com. The webinars explore how the lives and mental health of Iowa families have been indelibly changed by the pandemic, economic disruption, heightened focus on racial equity, and political turmoil of the last 12 months. We look at the impact on parents, children and families directly, but also shine a light on those in our community who support families, including teachers, mental health and health care professionals, and child care providers.
