Our Location

Clive Behavioral Health West is an 83,000-square-foot facility that features a single-story clinical and support services area and a three-story, 100-bed patient tower. This location provides inpatient services for patients experiencing a severe behavioral health crisis. Care at this location focuses on crisis management, stabilization and development of a plan to return to community living with, if needed, supportive outpatient services and community services and resources.

Each patient area includes a nurse station providing clinical staff direct access and visibility to three primary therapy spaces. The therapy spaces provide room for individual and group therapy, games and watching TV, and for quiet activities such as reading and meditation. Additional interior spaces include consult rooms, medication dispensary areas, staff offices, patient sleeping rooms, a laundry room and nourishment areas. Patients also have access to outdoor courtyards with walking paths, an activity gymnasium and a dining room.
